Are you a whizz with CSS?  Looking for an opportunity to train to be a full stack software developer utilising the latest Cloud technologies?

We are looking for a creative and artistic individual, from any educational discipline, who has the desire and ability to make great looking websites and UI components. In return we will provide training in C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, SQL and JavaScript so you can become a full-stack software developer and get involved in all aspects of our product development.

Based in Erdington on the north side of Birmingham we are a small but growing IT Consultancy who are focused on creating top quality bespoke software for SME's and Micro-businesses.  We tend to work from the office 3 days a week and remotely for 2, offering a great work/life balance.

Our projects range from simple static websites and single-user desktop applications to very large Enterprise-level Cloud-based IT systems. 

Primary Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of CSS and HTML.
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritising your own work load.
  • Willing to bring fresh ideas to contribute to overall software quality.

Secondary Skills

  • Existing knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript,
  • Experience with PHP and WordPress
  • Awareness of Agile testing approaches,
  • Previous commercial experience

Responsibilities

  • Working with our clients to determine themes and look and feel for new websites
  • Designing and creating static websites from scratch
  • Creating reusable CSS & HTML components such as buttons, animations etc.
  • Learning a wider set of skills such as C#, JavaScript and SQL in order to contribute to the more complex products and web applications we have.
